ACI certification class “TRADESMAN” with concrete
This course is the perfect opportunity to provide your crew in-depth training without pressures and constraints faced on a real job-site.
This two-day course will include classroom, hands-on training, and a practical hand-on exam for attendees to become a Certified ACI Concrete Flatwork Tradesman.
All events will take place from 8:00 a.m. arrival on the first day, 8:30 a.m. class start. Second day arrival 6:00 a.m., 7 a.m. concrete until 5:00 p.m. on the second day.
Please note: attendees are required to wear work boots to the class. We recommend steel-toed boots. Please also bring your own safety helmets.

- Pre-Placement Meeting
- Sub-Grade Preparation
- Mix Designs
- Hand Tools (Float, Channel vs. Highway Straightedge)
- F-Number’s for Random Traffic Floors
- Trowel Machines (Walk-Behind & Ride-On)
- Common Finishing Problems & How to Avoid Them
Day Two:
- ACI Tradesman Exam
- Verify Mix Design
- Place & Finish a High Tolerance Floor
- Testing Floor Flatness & Levelness Methods
