NEW!!! STF (Screed-Trowel-Finish) – “In the MUD”

“In the Mud” STF – This 2 day OEM instructed class is a basics course for beginner and intermediate contractors and tradesmen. We will be using a laser screed, power trowels and basic concrete hand tools for placing & finishing 20 yards of concrete on Day 2. The focus of this course will be on the recommended techniques for placing and finishing from Somero and Allen. We as OEM’s – are offering this course to help promote some of our industry’s best practices, processes, & product safety – while providing some knowledge & growth opportunities for our customers.
Day 1 – Classroom setting consisting of PowerPoint presentations and best practice discussion, followed by hands on review of products.
Day 2 – Shop setting with concrete, using the tools & techniques discussed previously to produce a good quality floor. The floor will be measured using a variety of instruments to provide instruction on the process and overall FF – FL numbers.
Safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves are provided. Pull over rubber boots are also provided. You are required to bring your own steel toe safety work boots/shoes.
Cost of this class is $350 per person. Lunches will be provided for the 2 days. Hotel, airfare & other travel expenses are the customer’s responsibility. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you’ve received confirmation from us.
