Somero’s team includes the best in the business: from industry innovators and creative problem solvers, to trusted customer support professionals and a world-class sales team. Each month, we’re featuring one of these outstanding employees in our Somero Employee Spotlight.
This month, we’re talking with Field Service Professional, Leo Oury.
What’s your favorite thing about working at Somero?
Coming from a concrete family, father a concrete finisher, grandfather a concrete contractor, brothers in the industry Tom (Schwing) and Peter (Loopbelt/Illinois Conveyor) and other relatives that have also impacted the industry (great uncle invented hydraulic chute on readimix trucks and cousin invented the telescoping belt (ROTEC) for placing concrete. I’m still impressed the most by Somero’s innovation and impact on the concrete industry. I still believe the Laser Screed® machine is the most impactful product ever in concrete construction.
